It is a process where marine microorganisms and flora that adhere to the propellers, flaps or stabilizers are eliminated.
There are several types of subsequent treatments to avoid/reduce future adhesions:
- Silicone treatment: It is a technique that is applied mainly composed of silicones, which decreases this adhesion until the next beaching of the boat, approximately 1 year.
- Antifouling Treatment/Primers: These options are composed of primers and antifouling for propellers.
- Polished propeller treatment: Recommended for high-speed boats.
